Using the Sequel MCP Server

Last updated: October 29, 2026

The Sequel MCP Server connects AI assistants such as Claude directly to your Sequel workspace. You can ask questions about your events, leads, and accounts in natural language, and you can take action, like building events, updating event settings, creating clips, and running agents, without leaving your AI assistant.

The MCP Server gives your AI assistant nearly all of the same abilities as Sequel's AI agents. You can combine Sequel data and actions with the other tools you have connected, such as HubSpot, Salesforce, your CMS, or Slack.

Connect the MCP Server

Add Sequel to Claude (or another MCP client) using the server URL api.introvoke.com/api/mcp, then sign in with your Sequel account.

Some organizations restrict custom connectors in their AI tools. If you can't add the connector, contact your IT team or your AI tool administrator.

How it works

  • It acts as you. Your AI assistant sees only the Sequel companies you belong to and can do only what your role allows in each one.

  • It asks before it changes anything. Your AI assistant confirms with you before every change.

  • Destructive actions preview first. Deleting or cancelling shows you exactly what will happen. Nothing changes until you confirm.

  • Capabilities follow your setup. Experiences and Segments tools appear only if your company has those features in Sequel.

  • Changes are recorded. Every change, including every company memory, is logged with who made it. Lead details and presenter device and network data are never written to request logs.

What you can do

Events and event performance

Find events and read every detail of an event, including its recordings, transcripts, and who registered. See how an event performed, including registrants, live and on-demand viewers, and engagement, along with Q&A, poll and quiz results, and post-event survey responses.

  • "How did the summit do, and what did people ask?"

  • "Give me the guest list from our last webinar, with each person's status."

  • "Summarize the poll results and survey responses from our Q3 product launch."

  • "How many live and on-demand minutes did we have this quarter?"

Leads and accounts

Find your best leads by score, activity, events attended, name, company, or title. Pull one lead's full story, including their AI intelligence summary, key moments, and pages visited. See the top companies engaging with your events.

  • "Show me leads scored 8 or above from the last two weeks."

  • "What topics is [person's name] interested in, and what should sales say to them?"

  • "Which companies are most engaged this quarter?"

Audience segments

See how your audience splits by function, seniority, company size, industry, and region, then save reusable segments.

  • "Break down our audience by seniority and industry."

  • "How many leads would match VP and above in financial services?"

  • "Create a segment for marketing leaders at companies with 500+ employees."

Experiences and AI Personalization

Build embeds and Sequel-hosted landing pages, including content that changes by segment and funnel stage. Then publish them and attach them to events.

  • "Use what HubSpot says about our pipeline to personalize next week's webinar embed for enterprise buyers."

  • "Create a landing page for our March summit using our brand theme."

Localization

Create experiences and landing pages in another language and translate registration questions. Your AI assistant does the translating and saves the translated copy, marked with its language.

  • "Make a German version of our personalized embed and landing page for the Berlin event, and translate the registration form."

Create and manage events

Create live webinars, simulive, on-demand, in-person, and hybrid events, as well as series and virtual summits. You can build a whole series or summit, with its tracks and every session, in one step. You can also update, clone, cancel, delete, or reschedule events.

  • "Set up a three-track summit for March with these sessions."

  • "Clone last month's product webinar and set it for January 14."

  • "Add three sessions to our customer education series, one per month starting in February."

  • "Move the whole summit back one week."

Event settings and readiness

Update any event settings tab, including:

  • registration settings and questions

  • CRM campaign and field mappings

  • certificates

  • widgets and embed

  • theme and branding

  • live features such as chat, Q&A, polls, reactions, and breakouts

  • hosts and presenters

  • post-event survey

  • landing page and SEO

  • replay

  • timed automations such as polls, CTAs, and resource drops

  • RTMP and restream destinations

You can also run a full readiness check before an event goes live. The check covers schedule, registration, emails, landing page, embed, media, hosts, CRM, and tracking.

  • "Add a 'Company size' question to the registration form and map it to Salesforce."

  • "Turn on Q&A and polls for next week's webinar and add Jane Doe as a presenter."

  • "Check that next week's events are ready to go."

CRM and integrations

Check integration health, see exactly what reached your CRM, and replay failed pushes for one lead, a list of leads, or a whole event.

  • "Why didn't yesterday's registrants reach Salesforce?"

  • "Test our CRM connection."

  • "Re-push the leads that failed to sync for yesterday's event."

Content repurposing

Turn recordings into transcripts, AI clips, rendered videos, and written content such as blog posts, LinkedIn posts, and newsletters. You can also set speakers' on-screen names and titles and fix misspelled company or product names in transcripts. Sequel remembers corrected spellings for your company.

  • "Cut the three best moments into vertical clips and write a LinkedIn post."

  • "Write a blog post from the October masterclass."

  • "Fix 'ThoughtSpot' everywhere it's misspelled in the transcript."

AI agents

Create agents that run on a schedule, such as reports, follow-ups, or clips, and pause, update, or run them.

  • "Run the Analytics agent for yesterday's event."

  • "Set up an agent that sends a monthly webinar report to Slack."

  • "Pause the Event Check agent."

Memory and knowledge

Save facts about your company and your preferences so every chat and agent can use them. You can also search your company's indexed knowledge, such as event summaries, tracks, and themes.

  • "Remember that our product name is always written as one word."

  • "What did our speakers say about AI adoption across this year's webinars?"

Live broadcast diagnostics

Work out why a presenter had a bad stream, and whether the cause was their device, their network, or the platform.

  • "Our keynote speaker kept freezing yesterday. Was it their connection?"

What stays inside Sequel

Some capabilities are available only to Sequel's AI agents inside the Sequel admin:

  • Email: Drafting follow-ups and invites, working with email templates, and sending all stay inside Sequel, where a person approves every send. To personalize follow-ups, use the [FLAG: link to Sequel agents overview] Post-Event Follow-Up agent.

  • Event email settings: Turning event emails on or off and editing their subjects and timing.

  • Industry benchmarks: You-vs-industry comparisons are available in Sequel's chat.

Cross-reference with your other tools

If you have other tools connected to your AI assistant, you can combine their data with Sequel's in one conversation.

  • "Show me the top engaged accounts from Sequel, then check which ones have open deals in HubSpot."

  • "Pull last week's attendees, cross-reference them with Salesforce, and draft a Slack message for each account owner with what their contacts asked."

  • "Compare the registrant list in Sequel with the Marketo program and list anyone missing."

Sequel scores engagement whether someone is a prospect or an existing customer. Cross-referencing with your CRM helps you separate new opportunities from current accounts. For customer success teams, the unfiltered list can surface expansion opportunities and accounts with strong adoption.

Tips for getting good results

  • Be specific about time periods and events. "Top leads from the past month" works better than "top leads."

  • Start broad, then narrow. Ask for the attendee list first, then follow up about specific segments or people.

  • Review before you confirm. For anything that changes, publishes, or deletes, read what your AI assistant plans to do before you say yes.

  • Try different phrasings. If a question doesn't return what you expect, rewording it often helps.

Troubleshooting

"Automatic client registration isn't supported" when connecting to Claude Edit the connector and add the OAuth client ID and URL from Connecting Sequel.io to Claude, then reconnect.
